Write Values from Excel To Micrologix 1500

Hey,
I am able to read values from a test SLC 5/03 plc into a excel spread sheet by configuring a new DDE/OPC topic in RS Linx 3.60 but how do write values such as set points or single bits like a reset into the plc from the excel spread sheet.
