I am looking at this combo for a project where the client has specified the AB 1400 but also has 9 RTDs to monitor. As the RTDs would consume 3 slots in local I/O I was hoping to conserve slot space for digital I/O. I would use explicit messaging with Ethernet/IP to read the data with all the usual checks. Has anybody had any experience with the Acromag product ? Any thoughts on how else I can do this ?
