RSLogix 500 scope

when I do a search I have to be in that particular ladder to find it, like N7:99. How do I change the scope to global, seems t o be on local. RSLogix 500 9.0

Instead of using the search bar, go to the menu, Search > Find.. change the Scope from LOCAL to GLOBAL.
