Hi, I now have a professional version of TIA portal V13 and i'm wanting to edit a program in a S7-1200 that has been programmed with V11. I have the program but want to make sure it is correct before I upload it to the PLC. I've read that once I've converted the V11 prog to a V13 I have to upload it to the PLC so I can have monitoring functions.

I'm wondering if there is anyway I can compare the programs before I upload. Also am I correct in thinking the upload is the right method?

Thanks in advance
