SPC Functionality - FTViewSE 7.0

Good afternoon/night/morning depending on where you are at.

RSView32 had nice SPC functionality.

Working on a conversion to FTViewSE 7.0 - this great functionality was stripped away and no longer exists.

What 3rd party solutions or other replacements are you using? I just spoke with Rockwell Support for almost an hour and they basically said they don't have anything they support or recommend.

Anything?

Anybody encounter or work with this at all?

Look at Inductive Automation.

They have an SPC Module. I personally would not use View SE.

I agree - and I'm quite impressed with Ignition.

But - if a company already has a Rockwell solution in place - and it's their company standard - then switching to an alternative product isn't a viable solution.

Then sell them FT Metrics.

Can you elaborate on how this would provide statistical process CONTROL ?

And realtime insight into the process from the HMI perspective.

Slapping on a reporting solution after the fact doesn't help with realtime control of the process.
