Has anyone ever heard of a sniffer device to monitor data being sent over an Allen Bradley remote I/O network. We need the ability to monitor and log the values data points on a remote I/O network but without adding any additional overhead. The PLC in question is a PLC-3 with overloaded communications.

The 1756-RIO has a "ghost mode" that allows it to listen to inputand output data on a RIO network.

QTS has an identical function in their AN-X module, as they developed the guts of both.
