Anyone know of a way to communicate Profibus PA devices to a Profibus DP network? I am using the CTI2500 processor and they do not have a card for converting PA to DP.

Check with your Siemens distributor. (Franklin / Ontor ?)
I think the cat number is 6ES7 157-0AC82-0XA0, but that might not be right.

Have a look here. You will find all you need.
What is required depends upon your specification.
You can use DP/PA coupler or DP/PA Link. If you use a coupler you need to bring the DP speed down to the PA speed (45.45kbps). If you use a link the DP speed does not depend on the PA speed.
If you want to make a redundant PA ring then apart from the links you need Active field distributors (AFDs).

How many instruments will you use? what type and what PLC.
If I remember well the maximum PA devices per coupler is 32.

Regards

Thanks Mike_RH for your answer, I'll look into that.

grnick50, I connecting to 4 devices and connecting to a CTI 2500 PLC.
