MODBUS TCP/IP and S7 300, M340

I wish to communicate with MODBUS TCP / IP, the S7 300 and M340, and I do not know how to do it.

I have never worked with M340 nor S7-300, all my background is with Allen bradley only.
If i were you I started reading M340 and S7manuals to find out if they share the same protocol, then look for a switch to start communication between them. If they use different protocols then look up redlion.net, they have a box that can be used as a protocol converter. Another option is prosoft technology they have special boards and may be one for your case.
