i have a rack mount server running Xen centre for virtual machines with 1 TB raid array. it has to act as HMI server with 3 clients, and historian server.

would you install the Factory talk view HMI server and factory talk historian server in the same VM or keep them seperate?

FT historian only runs on windows 2008 R2 SP1 and I have windows server 2008 SP1 (not R2, which I didn't even know existed) so i'm having to re-think and re-install how this all works now

thanks for your thoughts.
