im kind of new to the whole programming world and im trying to index a series of ascii files "A200 -> A219" these are all 256 elements long. what my boss wants to happen is we will store formula names based off of a number which we will enter into the hmi i have the range set at 0-500. the address i have to use is a floating point entry which when i tried to use it to index keeps saying cannot be indirectly addressed i dont know if its the "A" files or the "F" files that cannot be indirectly addressed. i tried to use a "N" file to see if that made a difference, with no luck... im stuck right now, and need help. i will keep checking online for solutions but i figured SOMEONE may know an easier way to index ascii files.
