Protool with PPI

Has anybody used Protool with PPI protocol?
I have tried to connect a SIEMENS s7-200 CPU with protool using PPI but it doesn't seem to work even though it is supported by protool software.
I have tried changing communication speeds but as soon as I run Protool I recieve a "Connection established " message and in a second a recieve a "Connection disconnected message"
The distributor tried to help me but wiithout any success.
