ABB drive window2.12

I'm using drive window2.12 to backup acs800 drive parameters.

Can I use drive windows2.12 to backup acs550 drive parameters also?

( or should I use drive window light 2? )

For Acs800, I have fiberoptic communication cable. I think, for acs550 i have to make rj45-pc9pin female communicating cable. is that correct?

I'm quite sure that the ABB ACS355/550/850 series of VFD's use different laptop software and certainly use different communication adaptors.

I'd run this question by your nearest ABB Tech Support contacts.

Bottom line is that the ACS800 is getting a bit dated and will probably drop out of the line in the next year or so. Of course, ABB will continue to support the 800 for many more years, as they always do.

The ACS550 uses DriveWindow Light. Yes, you will need an OPCA-01, or make your own.
