The "RSLogix Micro Starter Lite" software linked to by my colleague supports only the MicroLogix 1000 and MicroLogix 1100 controllers.
The MicroLogix 1400 controller requires a licensed, purchasable edition of RSLogix 500 software.
You can purchase it from your local Rockwell Automation distributor. In Veracruz, that's Risoul Automation.

You get that error code if you have an old version of the RSLogix 500 software that does not support the newest controllers.
The problem may also be with your RS-232 converter.
What version (8.0 ? 9.0 ?) do you have of RSLogix 500 software ?
Please remember that the RSLogix Micro Lite does NOT work with the MicroLogix 1400 controller. If you downloaded it from the link earlier in the thread, you will not be able to use it with your MicroLogix 1400.
