Uploading to KTP Basic Panel from SD Card

Hello,
last week I had some questons for you about uploading with memory card to a S7-1200.
Now I want to do the same for a KTP HMI. I want to upload to a HMI without being me there. I was wondering if I can send the sd card via post to the customer and making a short tutorial about how to do it.
Is there any solution?

Yes, you can send the card in the mail.
You can even just send the content in an email, and you customer can put it on an SD card by himself.

I have done it with Comfort Panels, but not with Basic Panels, so I cant give you a guide.
Just follow the Siemens manual !

Go to siemens support. Search for the type no of the panel and find the manual for it.

Hello,
I think you misunderstand me.
I want to copy the HMI files to a card, here in my office in Romania and want to send the card to the client in Senegal with a short tutorial about what to press on HMI to be able to upload the project from card.

This kind of tutorial I found for CPU S71200 but not for HMI.
Is it possible? Where can I found a description?

This is my guide for restoring a project from SD/USB card with the MP277. Works for the KTP as well.

For this to work you need to have a panel available which you do a "backup" of the proejct.
Is there a possibility to maybe send over a Pack n Go file instead?

I agree with rQx. The KTP panels don't have SD card or USB slots.

Siemens just released a 2nd generation of the basic panels last year. If you have a 1st generation, it doesn't have an SD card, or USB, or any other way to get information on/off.

There is theoretically some way to backup/restore the basic panels from the 1200, but I've never tried it. I don't know if you could back it up on your end, and then the customer could restore on theirs.

The second generation has an Integrated USB interface for the simple archiving on USB stick and connection of keyboard, mouse, or barcode scanner.
I don´t know if you can use it to upload a project.
