mentor ll drive Foc Trip

Hi everybody.
Please can you help me on the following problem:
The mentorll drive is displaying Foc trip.
And now i ask:if i disable field control in
parameter 6.13 (Enable field control)and i change it to 0.the there is no trip.Can i leave the seting like this?
What can happen it will work or not?
