Hello everybody,

When I open FTV SE 6.10.00, I notice in the Diagnostics List at the bottom were 2 errors constantly recurring:

- "Unable to initialize Alarm Historian, Alarm server RNA://$Local/..../tagAandE is unhealthy"

- "Unable to log alarm and event data. The database definition for the server RNA://$Local/..../tagAandE can not be found. (Database definition identifier: <.....>)

I tried to solve the issue by referring to this link but in vain: http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/rm/ftae-rm001_-en-e.pdf

Do you have Logging enabled via ODBC to SQL? Is the connection still valid?

Are the A&E servers setup redundantly? Are they synchronized / both operating?

Thank you for your reply.

In fact, the FTV SE has worked perfectly for several days and also the client application but in the last few days, this problem occurred.

Restarted A&E Servers?

Password used for logging into SQL server change / expire? Is the ODBC connection still valid?

Low disk space on SQL Server / logging destination?

Solution

This error is come ,when you add Alarm and Event Server in Factory Talk view studio Site Edition(Local Station).
Just delete Alarm and Event Server from Factory Talk view studio Site Edition(Local Station) problem will resolve.
