Hello PLC Guroos,

Kindly advise me which modbus scanner is best for scan modbus master slave or any other options, I'm looking free version of modbus scanners compatible with win7.

I have recently used modbus poll and modbus slave. Seems to be working reasonably well.

+1 for these guys. I have been using this product for at least 7-8 years and it is a great, simple product.

The one I wrote is Shortbus Modbus Scanner , it is free.

AdvancedHMI has both ModbusRTU and MobusTCP drivers that can be used to very quickly build a custom Modbus scanner. It is all free software.

A few quick steps of how to do it:

- Add a ModbusRTU driver to the form
- Add a BasicLabel to the form
- Set the property PLCAddressValue to 40001
- Run the application and you now have a Win7 program scanning Modbus
