Hello,

I had to change old 1336F-brf20-ae-en to new same one. I recorded all parameters and put then into new drive.
DeviceNet is not working.
1336-gm5 is a devicenet modul, which is in use, sits on front panel of the drive. I have 6 drives, so I tested device net module with some of them and it works.

My personal opinion that this is because I can not find in the parameteres NODE number. I looked all 324 parameters in every drive, and I really did not find differences (they all do same).
As a conclusion I can say, that Node number must be somewhere else, but Rockwell manual for the drive does not say where.

Could someone help?

The DNet Node # is set within the 1336-GM5 Module via DIP switches, not within the drive's parameter set.

It most likely is a firmware .EDS issue; the replacement drive probably carries a different firmware then the replaced one.

download the proper drive family("size" + firmware + communications protocol) .EDS file and register it on the PC running the RSNetWorx for DNet software using the RSLinx EDS Wizard.

Depending of the CPU owning the DNet scanner, editing the network nodes might require removal from the Scanlist of the "old", re-registering of the "new" and addition to the Scanlist (multiple downloads to the DNet Scanner and CPU Program Mode switches).

Thanks, we replaced the drive, but not GM5, just put it to new drive.
From this manual I see that node address is configured in GM5, that means, it should work just fine.

Then reason is different: drive is not reading from the GM5. If this is due to firmware, then I really have to change DNet unit in the program as well.

And next problem will pop up straight ahead :) No one can provide RSLogix5000 v7. I only have from v15 to v22. Can not update controller from 7 to 15.
