Siemens logo inputs

Once again i have a questions that most of you know the answer to because the people on this site are the greatest teachers.
i have a simple logo project were i am trying to connect to a push button to control input 1 on the logo. the push button will start input 1. the question is that when i wire the push button and press it nothing happens. Do i have to supply power to the input? if so were do i get the neutral from? Please help

Look at chapter 2 - Installing and Wiring.
Yes you will need the power supplied to the input. The wiring depends on the current common point to the input on the logo and the type of input you are using.
