Hi

Quick question. Is there 4mA at the output on the analog card when it is configured in the HW and the card has 24VDC? Or does the output have to configured in the programming first?

Kind regards

Lasse Johansen

The card has to be set up as such in the hardware. It can be 0..20 mA or 4..20mA or a voltage signal.

Maybe you could elaborate a little bit?

If no value is written to the card in the user program, then the card will output what corresponds to 0 (zero).
That is 0 mA for a card configured for 0-20mA, and 4 mA for a card configured for 4-20mA.
