communication with comactlogix 1769 L2 PLC

Hi All,
After crossover the issues faced on programs, i currently messed up with the communication issues with Studiologix 5000 and Compactlogix L24ER-QB1B PLC. i have the RSLinx Classic Lite . Under communication>Configure Driver, i configured AB_ETHIP_1. but there is nothing displayed. if using the BOOTP, there is showing the socket connection error.
where is my fault?
is it RSLinx classic Lite not support the L24ER-QB1B ?
or the IP address assigning is the issue?

Hi

First do you know the IP address of the plc
You will need to know this in order to set up your pc.
I would ping the address first if you know it.
That Plc has a USB port so you could use that to get online and get the IP address of the plc
