Hi,

Does anyone know if FTView SE version 6.00.00 can be installed and operate properly on a machine that already has version 8.00.00 on it (and operating)? I am using version 8.00.00 regularly but it looks like I'll need to use 6.00.00 for a legacy job. The version 6 installer is complaining about the newer version already being installed. I suppose I could trust it, and uninstall 8.00.00 on this particular machine. But I thought I'd ask the experts instead. The machine is 32 bit (Windows 7), and everything will be running "Local" mode.

Thanks
Joho

PS. I realized I mistakenly posted this earlier in the "Practice Posting" forum. Sorry about the doubling up, if that's a problem.

No, unfortunately you can only have one version installed at a time. I would either install it on a different PC or this is a perfect place to use virtual machines.
