1769-L35E Data Sockets?

Im trying to setup data sockets on a 1769-L35E. I've done it many times on other controls without an issue. Using the same code on this controller produces error 16#0005 class not supported when trying to create the socket.
Reading through some documents, the L35E isnt listed as a processor that supports data sockets. I find this a bit odd. Has anyone had data sockets working on a 1769-L35E?

I used a L33ER recently and it worked fine. This document will help.

L33ER Support Data sockets... Here's the list of PLC that support Data Sockets for the CompactLogix Family:

1769-L30ER, 1769-L30ERM, 1769-L30ER-NSE, 1769-L33ER,1769-L33ERM, and 1769-L36ERM

Basically all newer Compactlogix controllers with letter "R" and dual Etherent ports support sockets.
This also included newest 5069 product line.
