Does anybody have experience with such devices:

Which software should I use to work with it? Do I need any specific cable to connect it? Is it possible to upload user program from it?

I think it might be Foxboro's IA Distributed Control System (DCS).

DCS systems are licensed to the hilt. A DCS is all about licensing. Dongle and codes.

Access is typically through a licensed engineering workstation.

There might be a Foxboro DCS forum that could advise you.

The bottom unit is actually a Eurotherm T2750
Thanks. As I understand, it's a little bit older older generation - T2550. Is my understanding that it is used just as remote I/O correct? Which software is used to work with it?

Just joined forum so sorry if this isn't much use to you.

The top unit is actually a re-badged Eurotherm T940.

The software to program both the PAC T2500 and T940 is LINtools provided by Eurotherm. LIN stands for Local Instrument Network.

There is a specific cable required to connect from your computer USB port - it's an ARCNET driver and it's available from Eurotherm.

I'd contact your local Eurotherm representative or contact their UK office on +44 (0)1903 268 500 and ask for the Systems Helpdesk or Technical helpdesk.
