Hi guys !

I'm setting up a simulation environnent with Siemens for PLC and Eaton for HMI.

To achieve this, i'm using :
- PLC simulation : Siemens S7 PlcSim
- HMI simulation : Galileo 8.03
- Gateway/link : Nettoplcsim

Everything is almost working but :

Read a byte from siemens DB : OK
Read a bit from siemens DB : Error.

The error appears when I compile the HMI :
"ERROR: bit 'MyBit':the size of 1 bits is not supported (increase to 8 bits) -- PLC 'Siemens - Industrial Ethernet'

If I declare a new byte in the HMI and map it to the BIT DB adress, this is working... but not clean. And i means that i'll have to change everything later ?!

Thank you for your feedbacks !

Ronan
