Easybuilder Pro questions

Hello, I a newbie at plc programming...

I have some questions about easybuilder pro...

1. What is difference between pro and easybuilder 8000? Easybuilder 8000 is newer or older?

2. I am trying to insert some libraries into easybuilder pro, but it always asks for plb files...All libraries I see are flb files.

3. Is there any object to measure temperature by default, or I must build a new one?

4. Is there any way to bring an HMI screen in front using plc DI? Like having an error screen?

1. Plus is the newer version which covers most of the current HMI's. 8000 is the older version used for some current models, but mostly older ones.
2. The .plb files will be located in your \EZPlus\library directory.
3. No, because there is not any standard for the values. You will have to create your own.
4. Look at the popup windows section in your manual.

OK. I use easybuilder pro.
I have a simulation problem..
When I build my screen, I compile and run simulation, I always get an error message that HMI port (8000 or any port I have tried) is occupied.
I run a port viewer and noticed that port 8000 is occupied, but I have tried many other free ports, and I kep getting the same message.
I run Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
I tried to run it With virtual box, and had no problems.
Also to another machine with no problems...
I have this problem for a couple of months now.
Any ideas?
