omron c200he

hello all ..

i been using omron c200he connect to wincc (hmi) . seen it far est about 25mtr

i had use loop isolator model wisco rp 22 rs232 optical isolator to connect
plc and hmi ...it was working good ..

last few days it was giving problem cant connect to plc ..i had check the cable is was working but i cant n dont know how to check the isolator...
is there any way to check the isolator and can any 1 syggest other model isolator i can use coz the model hardly to get for me .

You mentioned that the cable is correct. Does that mean that you connected the PLC with the HMI without the isolation and it communicated?

If this is the case then that is the best test for replacing the Optical Isolator. I have not used the wisco product before but looks similar to the following:

i mean the cable is good ..check for broken cable with multimeter for continity..

hai all...just to think outside the box and need advise from all of you ..

since we have facing many cable been bite and broken by roden (rat) ..as i was thinking
more on to using wireless com between plc and pc..

had any 1 have idea for omrom plc c200he...can use wireless com for rs 232 ..
if do ..what was the item and how .
