omron SYSMAC C60K PLC communication cable

I need the information about a omron sysmac C60K PLC , which communication cable can be used to its programming, & whats the software ?.

See above link for the programming cable pin-out. You will need the DB9 (computer) to the DB25 (PLC Host Link)

The programming software to talk with the C--K (K-Series) units will be the Syswin (Window XP) or LSS (DOS)

You will need a Host Link unit, 3G2C7-LK201, no longer available from Omron.

You can check ebay, or used equipment dealers.

You would have to purchase the software somewhere. I wouldn't bother with LSS. Look for either Syswin (old) or CX Programmer (new). You may have to contact an Omron distributor.

You're also going to need a Hostlink module as already mentioned. You will not be able to interface to the PLC without it.

Another possible alternative is to reverse engineer the system and install new PLC.
