Unity Pro PID

Hi Out There,
I am a control panel builder who has to contend with programming customers choice of plc. For the first time I have been lumbered with a Modicon 580 with newly acquired Unity Pro L. I have written some of the program but have come to a standstill with the PID controller and cannot fathom out how to input the pid parameters into 'PARA'. If I put values into the data editor function block it won't let me validate. Can anyone out there help with either info or a typical example. I have read the help files but find no practical assistance .
