Hello folks. I have a panelview 1000 standard connected to an SLC 5, can't remember which version/model. The keys on the panelview are rubbed off, and you can't read them anymore. I was wondering if you can connect an industrial keypad to the SLC5. The client does not want to replace the panelview ($$$). They have mapped the keys, so if this works, we will have to remap them. Any suggestions? The only way to connect the keyboard is through the SLC 5, and the keyboard has a P/S2 connector. Please help!!

Put simply: "no". The keypad interfaces directly with the PanelView 1000 operating system, not with the SLC-500 communication port.

If it were me, I'd paint new labels on the keys !
