Completely off topic - other that the fact that I have, in past, seen these used as data collectors and simple time controls - but I have dug out my collection of 32-year-old Epson PX-8 notebook computers, and found that 5 out of 6 of the notebooks still work, and 3 of 6 (so far, maybe more) original Ni-Cd batteries still take and hold a charge. I don't know how long, but over a half hour each, so far. I have never seen other batteries this good.
