Easybuilder Pro. Loving it, but I can't figure out how to simply rotate an object. I don't mean with animation, or based on value. Simply put a picture, or an bit lamp object on the screen that is rotated 90* from what is was in the library.

What am I missing? The manual has left me blank on this one.

Thanks

EasyBuilder Pro does not currently support a feature to rotate static images within the development environment.

However; you may add any image to your library you wish to create. So you can export the image you wish to rotate into any photo editor, rotate it, and import the image into the image library for use.

Hope this helps,

To be honest I'm not sure why it wasn't included from the start. However; I'm told our developers are planning to add it in.

Hi Weintek USA! Welcome to the Forum, happy to have you aboard.

"Why? Why? Why?" PlcPieGuy, I can now no longer think of the name Weintek without replacing it with Why'ntek. Thanks!

I like how your biggest complaint is you have to use an image editor to rotate images (30 second workflow). When I compare it to some of the complaints I've had with HMIs over the years...

Speaking of rotating, one of my colleagues rotated the screen on another person's computer before they got in. They were totally confused and did not know how to fix it, until they searched up the keyboard shortcut on their phone, hahahaha. Good ole computer tricks!

(Ctrl + Alt + arrow key, although it's not working on my windows 10 for some reason)

OK, who else has tried the crl+al+ arrow and it hasn't done anything (win10)

Microsoft answer to the question.
This hot key is a feature of your graphics driver. Newer versions of it discontinued use of these hot keys. You may check this option if it is still available by pressing Ctrl + Alt + F12 > Options and Support > Hot Key Manager. As an alternative, you may switch your screen orientation by following the steps provided by Allan Mej.
