I have a SLC processor that keeps faulting on me, i was wondering if there was a bit in the processor that can be used to monitor when the processor faults.

Faults

Hey all, i had a fault in a SLC5/04 processor in which the operator cleared by cycling the key, i was wondering if there was a record kept of the fault or a way i could tell why the processor faulted...

This is a more expensive way to go about it, but you could always purchase a PCMK card and a pcm5/b cable.

that's how i hook up to the PLC5's with my laptop since i have no serial ports.

If you want the timer to start from where it left...

If you want the timer to start from where it left off you should use a RTO instead of a TON. A Retentive timer will pick up where it left off.

Forces Enabled.. but no forces in program

I have a Micrologix 1500 and the program that is in has Forces Enabled instead of No Forces.

But there is no forced bits in the program and i can't use the down arrow to get it to tell me where...

I kinda missed a part of the explanation. They only want the blades to move into 3.5" when it sees a 4" chamfer coming in. So it's not putting in a new setting, they won't be able to manually set it...
