Hi,

I am experienced in iFix SCADA but new to Factorytalk SE SCADA.

In iFix we can write script in the Scheduler (Which can act as a global script) to store Tag data in a Database (Using ODBC)...

IF U want it to be stand alone then U should select 'SCADA' as the node for both systems.

In Client-SERVER Architecture of iFix, Client node should be 'View' and Server node should be 'SCADA'....

When I tested this, I could't browse and connect 3rd party OPC Servers from Kepware Data Logger...

So Kepware Data Logger is not independent and can be connected only to Kepware OPC servers. :(
