Solved it. My update rate in global connections...
Solved it. My update rate in global connections was set to 0.05 seconds. Setting it to 1 second dropped CPU load by 50%

Well i have perhaps 10 activex controls running...
Well i have perhaps 10 activex controls running in the background mainly for datalogging. but even If I stop them the high load persists
