B&R serial cable.

Need pinout for building the RS232 serial cable for connecting a PC to a B&R PLC.

CPU B&R model = CP474, CP476, XP152.

Official B&R cable model = 0G0001.00-090.

What about Panel Ware HMI programming cable? Pinout?

I would buy it, but we are in an "emergency".

Pinout for serial cable is:

female plug female plug
pin 1 --------------------------- pin 1
pin 2 --------------------------- pin 3
pin 3 --------------------------- pin 2
pin 4 to pin 6 same plug on both
pin 5 --------------------------- pin 5
pin 7 --------------------------- pin 8
pin 8 --------------------------- pin 7
pin 9 nc nc pin 9

If you can supply more info on what the other cables are for, I might be able to help.

You can use a straight RS232 cable and it will work.
