Software Toolbox OPC Data logger vs Kepware

I just want to log Rockwell PLC tag data to a SQL db. Is there a preference between Kepware and Software Toolbox ?

If you just want to log data, I would use AdvancedHMI, it's free and built on .net so lots of users and help.

I recently tried with Sql4Automation.com and Bluxware.com both were easy to setup , they differ in the way they communicate.

PeakHMI can log to any database that supports ODBC and might be a lower cost solution.

Unfortunately it has to be between the two I asked about. Company will not switch to another solution.

Just download and test demo versions of both softwares.

Software toolbox is Kepware. Just re-badged.

Nothing to evaluate, pick the one that is easiest to buy.
