DB work orders to PLC

You could also use SQL4automation for that. For Siemens S7-1200 you can download a sample project here: http://www.sql4automation.com/en/licensing/download.php. To connect the SQL database, SQL4automation uses the Standard interface ODBC, so you can connect every SQL database to your PLC. The free demo version runs every time activated for two hours. It works in the same style also for other PLC brands like Rockwell Allen Bradley, Beckhoff TwinCAT, all CODESYS controls, Sigmatek, LASAL, or robot controls like KUKA KRC, Staubli Val3 or ABB.
