RsLogix 500 v9 to v10 MSG instruction

This tripped me up yesterday, thought I'd share the results of a conference call with RA this morning: There is a change between version 10 and previous versions concerning the extended routing table. CIP Generic MSG instructions would either timeout out or report the target destination was refusing the connection. see technote 751108 for RS500.exe and RSLGX500.dll replacement files.

Just had this happen to me after installing 10 on a new computer.

My fault for installing the latest version of any AB software (even if it's been out for over a year) and expecting it to actually work without a problem!
