Think & Do

Hello all,
I have just been tasked with updating hmi screens from 5.7 to 8.1. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good resource to learn the 8.1 online? I thought I was going to dodge this bullet, but it looks like I am going to be supporting the facility.

Thanks.
Shane

Have you tried looking at the A/D forum? I did a quick search over there and kept getting an error saying: "Your criteria is not restrictive enough and might return too many results. Please restrict your criteria and try again."

Well... it might return the results I want so show them to me please...

Their search feature is awful...

Windows 8.1 ended mainstream support last month. You should considering upgrading to linux, IMO.

I just realised that Windows 7 has less than 2 years until its End Of Extended Life day. Are you guys all off of 7 yet?

If they pull the plug on Windows 7, I'm going back to DOS

I'll migrate to W10 two days after they put me in the ground.

Now that I've said that it might end up being next Wednesday.

Btw it will still run in 2020. Just no updates.

Hey Shane, take a picture of the screens with your phone and use them as the backgrounds ;-)

It looks like we are both looking in lots of the same places.
