Hello,
I was hoping you guys can help me with a issue I started having with trending from a Wonderware Historian Server

The trending data just started flat lining on all of my tags

I have restarted the Historian server, but when the trend starts back up after the Historian restarts it seems to still flat line

what would cause the trend to work but all data from the tags are flat lined?

Thanks for helping

Sorry, couldnt help myself after reading the title.

Off to ER and get the doctor to give it the paddle treatment (Difribulator (spelling?)).

Sorry, cant help you on this one. I am sure someone will jump in soon:beerchug:

Yeah may have to break out the shock paddles
On this one..lol

But seriously I've never had the
Historian trend to do this before.
All the historical trending data
Is doing this

So I thought it has to be Historian server
This is were all the historical data is at

I have restarted the server but no luck

I appreciate the help

Sounds like it's lost communications...how is historian reading values? Direct from plcs or other intouch nodes on the network?

Check you're data sources are reading valid, changing data.
Also maybe re-run the change network account on historian and/or data source.

Does you're status window indicate valid connections to the data source's?

The Historian is reading values from the PLC
I was able to read the data in object viewer & the data is changing
& i did the change network account on the Historian
but when I select the trend the data is still flat lined.

any ideas
thanks for helping

I get this error when trying to connect to the Historian through the IDE server
Communication error: Invalid platform ID

When i try to redeploy the Historian platform i get this error
the local installation's version is different from the one in the remote node

the thing is that nothing has changed on either server
Do you guys know what these messages mean & what I could try to resolve it?

thanks again

Im pretty sure the Historian does not need a platform firstly. It maybe the services have not all started correctly . Go into SMC on the historian and look at the status pane to see if all the services have started correctly. Post it and maybe i can see something. Also what does your SMC log say when you try to connect?
