RTC in SoMachine

In programming with SoMachine 4.3, what is the best way to get the current time? It seems the RTC functions are very limited??

I have used Codesys in the past and have used nice RTC function blocks, but the ones I was used to do not show up in SoMachine.

I have searched quite a bit and about the best I can come up with is the "RTC" function block, but that one is difficult to use and it still seems like I am missing something. Any advice?
