Ignition SCADA queries

We have a few projects where animation based on historical data would be a real nice feature.
Can this be done with Ignition?

Yep

so long as the information is stored in a database then ignition can display it by just selecting from the database with the required timestamp.

We have made a “VCR” mode on some systems where you can set a datetime and then run forwards, backwards, pause. Fast forward, or frame by frame at 100ms intervals. Very useful for post event analysis.
