ENI question

Another question,
I've been trying to get my test bench set up with a new ENI module to a 5/04 SLC. On my office computer I can see my original 5/05 and the panelview thats runs thru a ENI out on the line. My first idea was to just set up my new IP in the same driver in Linx. But I keep getting a error code. I see the ENI module in linx but its fuzzy and the red X flashes on then off.
Do not have my ENI programmed correctly? I did see the 5/04 once when I changed my channel 0 to DH485 but I couldnt upload or download. Now after screwing around with it I can only see the ENI module in Linx. Should I set up another Ethernet driver in linx or can I just use the first one that I'm using now that is working. It was easy to set the 5/05 to Ethernet operations but this ENI module that I've never used hasnt been that easy.
I've searched this forum but didnt find anyone having the same problem. Right know I'm just trying to get the 5/04 on the Ethernet.

1500 not 5/04 but maybe it will help

I use the ENI for Micrologix 1500 but all I do is go online with the ENI and give it a static IP address, SubNet Mask and disable BootP and then download. I just check my test bench with the MicroLogix1500 and the channel is configured DF1 Full Duplex.

I tried the DF1 Full duplex but have the same occurance. I use the ENIutility program and it worked on my last one but this one is fighting me. Thanks

The latest Rockwell magazine ( I think it is called "Connections") has a good article on setting up the Net ENI module. Should be able to download at Rockwells website. Regards Alan Case

Alan I checked out the article and I have that understood. I also read up on the knowledgebase that I didnt find during my last search. But I still have a few questions that I believe the manual will answer. I tried to find the on-line user manual, even entered in the exact number 1761-UM006A-EN-P, but I guess they dont offer it on-line.

Anyone have this manual in .pdf format?
