Anyone come across Windows 7 FES ( for embedded systems) is this just windows 7 Pro ?

W7 embedded allows for including only the components needed. This can be to limit the OS footprint, complexity, prevent troublesome components from running, etc..

we have several specialty monitors that use windows 7 embedded os.
