Change 1756-CNB with 1756 CN2

Dear all
I have an ALLEN BRADLEY PLC system with a local and a remote rack. On the local rack I have 1756-CN2 and on the remote rack I have 1756-CNB
I need to replace the controlnet bridge on the remote rack 1756-CNB my questions are:
1- Can I replace a 1756-CNB with a 1756-CN2
2- Do I have to change the configuration and reschedule (which I suppose will necessitate a shutdown of the plant ).
3- what about replacing 1756-CNB with a 1756-CNB but with a different version ( A or B)
