Hey everyone,
following the forums for a month so far and I'm very impressed by the great amount of collected knowledge that I was able to find here.
Being an IT-Student I am not so comfortable with many industrial terms used, so please excuse if I am going to ask something obvious about my task:
Since I have no idea what tools to use and RSLogix 5000 is not free anymore, I'm working by sending Commands in HEX with Hercules and collect the responses with Wireshark.
I am using CIP Volume 1 & 2 from 2007 I found on the internet (i guess newer ones cost 1000$ each?).
Knowing now my IMPACT67 is a General Purpose Discrete I/O Device I was able to read Assembly Objects but I am not aware how to actually adress the connected sensor.
I hope my specifications make sense so far and I didn't mess up the text (Grammar).
Best Regards
Kiotom
Edit: I forgot to actually ask for help, but I am very grateful for any kind of suggestions or solutions
