Hi all, attached you will see my attempted to make a pulse input simulator using RSlogix500. I am trying to use a TON timer to make a storage bit to be mapped across as an input to simulate a proximity sensor pulse input, using a flip/flop arrangement. Currently the bit doesn’t seem to be pulsing at a regular period? I wish to use something like this test conveyor type programs for under speed/stall/jam scenario. I know some PLC have a pulse generator as an option but have not been able to see one for RSlogix500 (but then l have only had a MAN look). An easy means of altering the pulse speed/time would be useful
I’m sure this may be a back to front method of doing what l want, so your criticism of my work will be appreciated or a better working example, put forward from the forum would be gladly used.
Regards

Hi Steve, thanks for the quick responce, the "eee" is only on the pdf and shouldn't have been there as the program is clear to go, no verified errors.
The help said the OSR had to have the same address as the output, is this not correct?
Thanks

No,see pdf below.

You might want to consider using the free running clock status bits for your pulse. See pdf.
