I have some vision rejection systems that communicate with a Red Lion HMI, using Crimson 2.0 and sends a block transfer to a PLC. The PLC handles the rejections.
On comms loss i report total failure and reject all product. With Crimson 3.0, I can use IsDeviceOnline and the device number assigned to the device when i set up my network protocol to set a tag.
I would like to use this to shut down rejection and notify that the camera is offline until i work out my issues.Has anyone performed something similar on Crimson 2.0.
Thanks very much for any consideration.
