PlantPAx P_DIn vs P_Alarm Block usage

Hi! I am working on my first PlantPAx control system. I have a level alarm low switch that I am questioning if I should simply use the P_Alarm block, or use the P_DIn block and feed the output from that into the P_Alarm block. Has anyone dealt with this before and can provide some insight? THanks!
 
Hi,

We typically use the P_Din block and configure that to use the alarm block. Will post some screenshots tomorrow...

I just use the P_DIn block by itself. Then alarm on TgtDisagree = 1.
